Showers, pans, and tub surrounds built for daily water

Water finds every weak spot behind wallboard, which is why we build wet areas from the framing out. When we set up a shower or a tub surround, the substrate gets our full attention before the first piece of ceramic or porcelain touches thinset. We check studs for plumb, shim out low spots, and install proper backer boards with sealed joints. Tub surround tile work is $2,000 flat, while custom walk-in showers and built pans get an on-site measurement so we can quote the build accurately based on your layout, plumbing valve positions, and wall heights.

For shower floors, we shape a proper preslope to the drain so water runs off instead of sitting in the corners and souring the grout. We handle handcrafted zellige, polished marble, and tight mosaic sheets on shower floors where grip matters. Trim gets finished with solid brass or satin metal edge profiles that protect raw tile edges from chipping. Every seam gets wiped down, caulked at internal plane changes with color-matched flexible sealant, and sealed against daily moisture before we pack up our tools.

Living room, hallway, and whole-home floor installations

Floor tile has to sit dead flat to prevent high corners, which setters call lippage. Concrete slabs in Killeen, Belton, and Temple often have humps, low valleys, or old cracks that will telegraph right up through a new floor if you ignore them. Before we mix a bucket of mortar, we scrape the slab clean, grind down high spots, and fill hollows. When you want large-format porcelain, terrazzo tiles, or classic ceramic squares, we use leveling clips and check our lines across doorways to keep rows straight through the whole house.

Kitchen backsplashes and accent wall tile work

A kitchen backsplash sits right at eye level, right where bad cuts and crooked grout joints stand out immediately. We take our time finding the true center of the focal wall behind your cooktop or sink before spreading adhesive. Outlets and switch boxes get shimmed out flush so plates sit tight against the new surface without rocking. Whether you choose glossy subway tiles, natural stone, or geometric mosaics, we cut around your upper cabinets, range hoods, and window casing with clean, chip-free wet saw cuts.

We pull tile directly out of the Temple supply house, so what you pick out is what arrives on your counters. You can also supply your own boxes if you already bought something specific. To wrap exposed runs where the tile ends on open drywall, we install slim satin or brass profiles instead of leaving raw, unglazed clay edges in plain sight. For backsplashes and custom wall tile, call us for a straight quote once we see the square footage, layout complexity, and outlet counts in person.

Tile repair, subfloor correction, and transition fixes

Cracked grout, loose floor pieces, and broken shower curbs usually point to an issue underneath the surface. When tiles loosen, it generally means the original installer did not get enough thinset coverage or laid tile over a dusty, flexing subfloor. We pull up damaged sections, clean the old mortar down to bare concrete or sound wood, and check for structural movement. If matching pieces are available, we can reset isolated areas and regrout the section to blend in with the surrounding floor.

We also replace broken thresholds and misaligned transition strips where tile meets wood, carpet, or vinyl plank. A poor transition catches toes, chips edge tiles, and pulls away from the floor over time. We install durable aluminum reducers, brass edge profiles, and solid wood thresholds screwed or bonded down firmly. If your bathroom floor has loose tiles around the toilet flange or near the tub ledge, we can assess the subfloor damage and give you a straightforward price to rebuild that area properly.

From the first room measurement to a clean job site

Our process stays simple because the same people who quote your job are the exact people who do the physical work. We measure the space, check the floor levelness or wall plumb, and talk through the layout. You can bring your own boxes, or you can come to the supply house with us to inspect the material before purchase.

Once the job starts, we protect your hallways, run our wet saw in a controlled space, and set your tile on a solid base. When the thinset cures, we pack the joints with dense grout, wash the haze away, and seal the grout lines where required. Every installation carries a written one-year limited labor warranty from the date of completion. It covers issues arising from the original installation. Manufacturer warranties cover the materials themselves, while alterations made to the surface after we leave fall outside our labor warranty coverage.
